Now I was a litte puzzled when I looked outside this morning to find this in the garden
I have concluded that the local hedgehogs must be planning a NYE party in our garden and have got their supplies in early! (just hope they don't keep us awake)
This year we decided not to get a real tree, our lounge is quite small and the non-drop ones are just a bit too much for our budget at the mo!
So I got some willow twigs (we already owned them), picked some teasels, then sprayed the teasels copper! Some battery powered fairy-lights, and a few minimal decorations and here it is!
This weekend has been spent making Christmas cards, I've been stitching snowflakes onto some scraps of gorgeous bridal fabric that I got from a dressmaker
I'm busy creating a photo album for 2008 (yes it's nearly the end of 2009 it's been a busy year!) And I found one of my fave photos that I've ever taken :)
Well the weekend saw some time off from my thesis writing so I decided to try making some cluster earrings, I'm really pleased with the results and bought more beads to 'cluster' with
I also got to go to the Covent Garden bead shop which was AMAZING!! two floors of beads!!
A friends daughter asked me to help her make an amphitheatre cake... so after some engineering input here is what we managed to create, amazing what you can do with some cake, icing and gummy bears/jelly babies

It's mine I tell you MINE....
Welcome to my little blog!
Today we still have no heating, which means it's a bit on the cold side! I got my hot water bottle out and the kitty decided she wanted it!!
